Hamilton is Centrally Located

Roughly two hours from both Austin and DFW, Hamilton sits at the crossroads of U.S. Highway 281 and State Highway 36 — perfectly placed, but far from the chaos. Many travelers take this scenic route to avoid I-35, only to discover a town they weren’t expecting to love.

With wide-open skies, a welcoming community, and a location that makes day trips a breeze, Hamilton truly is “halfway to anywhere — and worth the stop.” It’s also home to the largest airport in the region, offering self-service fuel and brand-new hangars — making it just as easy to fly in as it is to fall in love.
